Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support hiring efforts while strengthening the company’s employer brand in Paducah, Kentucky. This position blends recruiting, community outreach, and digital content creation to help attract talent and showcase company culture. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities across talent acquisition, social media, and employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end hiring activities, including posting openings, sourcing candidates, conducting initial screening, arranging interviews, and partnering with HR on pre-employment steps and onboarding coordination.
• Develop talent pipelines through a mix of sourcing methods such as online job platforms, social channels, employee referral programs, trade schools, and workforce partnerships.
• Support early-career recruitment by organizing career fairs, campus outreach, facility tours, and other community-based hiring events.
• Maintain accurate recruiting records, applicant updates, and hiring metrics to ensure a well-organized and responsive candidate experience.
• Produce and publish engaging social media content that highlights workplace culture, employee stories, open positions, company achievements, and community involvement.
• Build and manage content schedules across social platforms to keep messaging timely, consistent, and aligned with brand standards.
• Track audience engagement and content performance, then adjust strategies to improve visibility and effectiveness.
• Represent the organization at hiring events and community initiatives while helping strengthen local talent networks and partnerships.
• Coordinate employee-focused events and recognition programs across locations to support morale, appreciation, and a positive workplace environment.
• Recommend improvements to recruiting methods, sourcing channels, and social media outreach to expand talent pipelines and increase brand awareness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related area.
• Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle recruiting and build effective sourcing strategies for a variety of roles.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines, projects, and changing priorities with attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create engaging messaging for different audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and major social media platforms used for recruiting and brand promotion.
• Experience with social media content development and platform management; familiarity with graphic design or content creation tools is preferred.
• Ability to work additional hours and weekends when business needs or event schedules require it.
