Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at OMTECH, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and applications. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and reliable systems and services in cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Create and manage monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure high system availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and implement application performance improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, availability, and operational issues across systems and services.
• Engage in capacity planning and management to ensure adequate resource availability.
• Automate routine operational tasks, reducing manual overhead associated with service operations.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support 24/7 operations and ensure minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
