About the Role

BCD Travel is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to work with business users and development teams to understand data requirements, identify data quality issues, and uncover opportunities for data enrichment. This role involves conducting large-scale data analysis, translating business needs into functional requirements, and monitoring progress throughout the development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with data analysis and profiling tools, and the ability to manage data projects from initial assessment through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and requirements.
• Conduct data needs assessments and large-scale data analysis to identify data patterns, quality issues, and enrichment opportunities.
• Facilitate meetings and discussions with development teams to review and refine functional requirements.
• Develop processes and dashboards to monitor data quality and quality trends.
• Identify and communicate data quality issues to stakeholders and help maintain data integrity.
• Prepare and publish data quality reports for leadership.
• Provide business users and stakeholders with updates on development progress and project status.
• Assist with system testing, user acceptance testing, and training as needed.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and data management best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar technical role, preferably involving data.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience with requirements gathering and data mapping.
• Technical proficiency in data analysis and data profiling tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of software development methodologies and development workflow tools.
• Ability to manage data projects from inception through completion.
• Experience using data visualization tools to turn analysis results into informative dashboards.

Work Arrangement

• Full-time, remote position.
• Listed locations include Atlanta, Georgia, and Ohio.

Compensation & Benefits

• U.S. salary range: $70,000–$75,000 annually. Actual compensation depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
