Job Overview

RadGov Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tester/Test Engineer/UAT Tester/Manual Testing/QA Analyst/Quality Assurance Tester to join our remote team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our software products through systematic testing procedures. You will engage in various testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing, ensuring that deliverables meet defined acceptance criteria. Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
• Perform manual testing to identify defects and ensure application functionality meets business requirements.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate software against user expectations.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Document and report test results, defects, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Participate in peer reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for testing processes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of automated testing processes when applicable.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies and approaches based on industry trends and feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related roles.
• Proficient in manual testing techniques and methodologies.
• Experience with UAT processes and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and project management practices.
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
