Contract Dates: November 30, 2026 – February 28, 2027

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule: Night shift, 36–48 hours per week

Unit: Combined Medical-Surgical/Telemetry

Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse who can care for adult patients requiring medical-surgical treatment and cardiac monitoring. Strong telemetry skills are essential for this mixed-unit assignment.

Responsibilities

Assess and monitor medical-surgical patients.
Interpret and respond to telemetry findings within the RN's scope of practice.
Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
Monitor patient progress and identify changes in condition.
Coordinate care with physicians and the clinical team.
Document assessments and interventions.
Float within the designated Medical-Surgical/Telemetry departments as required.

Requirements

Active RN license valid for California practice.
Current BLS certification.
Strong telemetry experience required.
Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
Availability for night shifts and potential floating within the designated units.
