UI/UX Engineer

The Role

• Lead the design, development, and engineering of modern, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces for mission-critical applications

• Translate complex user needs, workflows, and functional requirements into effective interface and user experience solutions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, software engineers, systems engineers, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle

• Apply user-centered design principles, build interactive prototypes, and establish reusable UI components and standards to simplify complex workflows

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to technical discussions, and ensure designs are implemented accurately and accessibly

What You'll Need

• US citizenship is required per contract, along with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to pass a polygraph examination

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 8-12 years of prior relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience

• Strong professional experience developing modern web-based user interfaces with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python

• Demonstrated understanding of responsive design, component-based development, and modern front-end frameworks within an Agile environment
