Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our team at Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center in Miami, Florida. As a key member of our leadership team, the RN Unit Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing unit, ensuring exceptional patient care and a positive work environment. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of our skilled nursing unit, including staff supervision, patient care coordination, and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and other department leaders to develop and implement unit goals and objectives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA and Joint Commission standards
• Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes
• Provide professional guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, including orientation and training programs
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, respect, and teamwork among staff members

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Florida
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in staff supervision and patient care coordination
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
