Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Unix/Linux System Administrator to install, configure, maintain, and support Unix/Linux server environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system availability, performance, security, and reliability while providing operational support for business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Unix operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE, AIX, Solaris).
• Perform server administration, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, file systems, and security policies.
• Configure and maintain DNS, NFS, FTP, SSH, LDAP, and other infrastructure services.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Automate administrative tasks using Shell scripting (Bash, Korn Shell, Python).
• Manage storage, LVM, RAID, and server virtualization platforms.
• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, network, and application-related issues.
• Support production, development, and testing environments.
• Perform vulnerability remediation and security hardening.
• Prepare system documentation, SOPs, and operational reports.
• Work closely with application, database, network, and cloud teams.
