VCF AVI Architect [84498]

Our client, a financial services organization, is seeking a VCF AVI Architect for a temporary, remote-in-region opportunity. This role leads the architecture and integration of VMware AVI within a VCF 9.1 private cloud. The architect will modernize application delivery across VPC, NSX, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and VM environments.

There is no application deadline for this role.

VCF AVI Architect Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural strategy and design for a greenfield AVI deployment in VCF 9.1.
• Define AVI Controller cluster topologies, capacity planning, and lifecycle management standards.
• Architect Service Engine Groups and AVI integration patterns for VCF VPCs and NSX segments.
• Design container load-balancing strategies using AKO and AMKO for OpenShift and VMware Kubernetes Service.
• Establish multi-site GSLB, infrastructure-as-code, automation, and load-balancing governance frameworks.

VCF AVI Architect Qualifications:

• Deep technical expertise in AVI and enterprise application delivery architecture.
• Experience with VCF 9.1, VPCs, NSX networking, and VM workload environments.
• Knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, and VMware Kubernetes Service application delivery.
• Experience with AKO, AMKO, GSLB, and multi-site resiliency architectures.
• Exceptional technical leadership skills for advising infrastructure, networking, security, executive, and technical stakeholders.
