Role Description The Vice President of Customer Strategy is a full-time remote leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the community’s member and partner engagement strategy. This role oversees customer and community insights, defines strategic initiatives to improve member experience, and ensures alignment between educational offerings, events, and the needs of learners and collaborators. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing engagement data, identifying growth opportunities, guiding digital strategy for programs and communication, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design initiatives that support learning, retention, and satisfaction. The Vice President of Customer Strategy will also work closely with community leaders and external partners to develop consulting-style solutions for sponsorships, collaborations, and sustainable growth, while maintaining a member-centric approach.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, derive insights, and inform customer and community strategies.
• Proficiency in strategic planning and digital strategy to design and implement scalable, member-focused initiatives.
• Experience in consulting and stakeholder management, including working with partners, sponsors, and internal teams.
• Understanding of finance principles to support budget planning, resource allocation, and evaluation of strategic investments.
• Proven leadership experience in community building, customer success, or product/strategy roles, preferably in technology or education-focused organizations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed environment.
• Familiarity with Python, AI/ML, or developer communities is beneficial, along with experience using digital collaboration and analytics tools.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
