Vice President of Distribution

Role Description The Vice President of Distribution is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the strategy, operations, and performance of StudentHero’s distribution channels. This role oversees the planning, implementation, and optimization of distribution networks to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of services and products. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing cross-functional teams, setting sales and distribution targets, overseeing logistics and supply chain processes, and monitoring P&L performance to align with organizational goals. The Vice President collaborates closely with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and market expansion strategies, while improving systems, tools, and processes for scalable growth. This role also includes building and maintaining key partner relationships, analyzing data to drive continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Strong financial and business acumen, including experience in P&L Management and Budgeting.
• Proven leadership in commercial functions, with skills in Sales and growth-oriented distribution strategy.
• Expertise in operational oversight, including Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management.
• Track record of leading high-performing, distributed teams and collaborating effectively across departments.
• Ability to use data and analytics for decision-making, performance tracking, and process optimization.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in education, coaching, or mission-driven organizations is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
