Role Description The Vice President of Infrastructure is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the design, implementation, and operation of the company’s core technology infrastructure. This position oversees infrastructure strategy, including cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and resilience for blockchain-based financial platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include aligning infrastructure initiatives with business and product goals, directing network and security architecture, and managing incident response and service continuity. The role also involves collaborating with executive leadership on IT strategy, mentoring technical leaders and teams, optimizing IT service management processes, and driving infrastructure-related projects from planning through execution. The Vice President of Infrastructure will work cross-functionally with engineering, security, and operations teams to maintain robust, compliant, and cost-effective systems.
Qualifications

• Strong infrastructure leadership experience, including expertise in enterprise infrastructure design, cloud platforms, and scalability.
• Proven ability to define and execute IT strategy aligned with business objectives, particularly in fintech or high-growth technology environments.
• Demonstrated project management skills, with experience overseeing complex, cross-functional technical initiatives and delivering on time and within budget.
• In-depth knowledge of network security, including secure architecture design, threat mitigation, and compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
• Experience with IT service management practices (e.g., ITIL), including incident, problem, change, and capacity management for mission-critical systems.
• Background in blockchain or distributed systems, or strong willingness to learn and engage with emerging financial technologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to lead remote teams and collaborate across time zones.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
