Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations

Role Description The Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations will oversee end-to-end manufacturing and operational activities, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality processes that support Ibirapuera Shopping’s strategic objectives. This full-time remote role includes defining operational strategies, setting performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations and related supply chain activities. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional leaders, aligning operations with business goals, optimizing resource allocation, and managing vendor and partner relationships. The Vice President will provide leadership to operations teams, implement best practices in operational excellence, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. This position also focuses on forecasting, risk management, and implementing technology and process innovations to enhance productivity and service reliability.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Manufacturing Operations and Manufacturing Operations Management, with a track record of leading complex, multi-site or remote operations.
• Strong background in Operations Management and Operational Excellence, including experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Proficiency in Supply Chain Management, covering planning, sourcing, logistics, and vendor management to support efficient and resilient operations.
• Proven leadership and people management skills, including the ability to build and guide diverse teams, foster collaboration, and drive accountability in a remote setting.
• Strategic thinking with solid analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate data and insights into operational actions.
• Excellent communication skills in en_US, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and present complex operational topics clearly.
• Experience working in or with retail, shopping centers, or large commercial facilities is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
