Vice President Operations

Role Description The Vice President Operations at Türkiye Öğrenci Senatosu / Student Senate of Türkiye (Turkish Student Senate) is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities across the organization. This role manages and optimizes internal processes, coordinates cross-functional initiatives, and ensures that organizational goals are translated into effective operational plans. The Vice President Operations will monitor performance metrics, manage budgets and resources, and work closely with other executive leaders to support strategic priorities and stakeholder needs. Daily responsibilities include leading operations teams, overseeing key projects from planning to execution, maintaining high standards of service to students and partners, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. The role also involves preparing operational reports, supporting decision-making with data-driven insights, and promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and transparency.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Operations Management and Project Management to oversee processes, workflows, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience in Strategic Planning and P&L Management to align operations with organizational goals and manage budgets and financial performance.
• Strong Customer Service orientation to maintain high-quality engagement with students, partners, and stakeholders.
• Proven leadership abilities, including team management, decision-making, and conflict resolution in a remote or distributed environment.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in professional English; Turkish language proficiency is highly beneficial.
• Experience in non-profit, educational, or student-focused organizations is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
