TCLO anticipates that the internship will start on Monday, November 16, 2026, and will end on Friday, February 26, 2027.  The selected intern will work 20 hours per week (Mondays through Fridays, from 9:00 AM EST to 1:00 PM EST), and for each hour worked, the selected intern will be compensated at a rate of $15.00 per hour.

The selected intern's duties will include answering and routing incoming calls (via Dialpad), recording intake information received from potential clients (via Clio), and monitoring the general email inbox which collects inquiries from the public at large (via Microsoft Outlook). The selected intern will also report directly to Attorney Cheyenne N. Chambers for any ongoing training, supervision, and mentorship.

Applicants are expected to submit a resume and cover letter via email ([email protected]) by no later than Friday, November 6, 2026, and will be asked to participate in a short virtual interview with Attorney Chambers before being selected. Competitive applicants would be pre-law students who can demonstrate, at minimum, that they are effective communicators, strong writers, and passionate about civil rights issues.
