ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A growing, private equity–backed food manufacturer is hiring a Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse operations across two shifts. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who brings structure to scheduling, keeps the dock running to plan, and solves problems on the floor as they happen. You'll also be a key leader in the company's upcoming ERP implementation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead a warehouse team of 20+: directly manage 1st shift associates and the 2nd shift Supervisor, with indirect leadership of the 2nd shift team
• Build and manage employee schedules that match volume and keep both shifts properly staffed
• Own the dock schedule, coordinating inbound and outbound activity so materials and product move on time
• Plan warehouse labor, space, and workflow ahead of demand
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise and drive lasting fixes using continuous improvement methods
• Represent the warehouse in the upcoming ERP implementation, from process design through go-live and adoption
• Use Excel-based reporting to track performance and guide decisions

WHAT YOU BRING

• Management experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations
• Proven experience leading teams of 20 or more
• ERP experience; implementation experience is a strong plus
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Office skills
• A track record of structured problem solving using CI methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, or similar)
