Job Description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) for an Acute Care Float Pool, delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care across multiple inpatient units.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuously reassess patient status
Administer medications safely and accurately
Develop, implement, and update care plans based on patient needs and acuity
Provide patient and family education to support understanding and care outcomes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate effective care
Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Act as a resource nurse when needed
Adapt quickly to diverse patient populations and changing clinical conditions

Qualifications & Skills

Current RN licensure
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Competence in acute care medication administration
Ability to develop patient-centered care plans
Effective communication and education skills for patients and families
Team-oriented mindset and commitment to quality, safety, and evidence-based practice
Flexibility to work across multiple units and acuity levels
