Job Description

• $245–$280 per hour

• 100% remote

• Part-time

• Fully flexible schedule

Work on the cutting edge of AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the statistics and machine learning skills you already have.

The AI models everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real experts. The companies building them need applied scientists who can pose realistic, hard statistics and machine learning problems and judge how well the AI works through them. They also need those experts to produce the analysis a seasoned practitioner would deliver and to explain exactly where the AI's reasoning breaks down. Your judgment becomes part of how the next generation of AI models handles data and numbers. This is that work, done remotely, around your current job.

What you'll do

• Write challenging statistics and machine learning problems, along with the datasets that go with them

• Review AI-generated answers and judge whether the analysis and the modeling actually hold up

• Build the reference solutions as reproducible Python code with a clear write-up of methods and findings

• Pinpoint where the AI went wrong, from flawed methods to statistical errors, and give structured feedback on each case

Why this is worth your time

• Get paid $245–$280 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job

• Work on AI systems that handle statistics and machine learning, checking their analysis and helping improve their quantitative reasoning

• Build practical experience applying your statistics and modeling judgment to AI evaluation and clear model feedback

• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute

Who this is for

• Practical expertise in Python, including Pandas and scikit-learn

• Hands-on experience developing, tuning and evaluating machine learning models, grounded in applied statistics and experimental design

• Strong data modeling skills, for both structured and unstructured data

• Fluent English and clear written and spoken communication, including the ability to explain your technical decisions

• No experience in AI training work needed. You bring the statistics and machine learning expertise; the work provides structured evaluation tasks and clear feedback criteria.

Pay and details

• $245–$280 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor

• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States

• Minimum weekly submission requirements apply.
