Seeking a mid-level General Liability Associate with 3–8 years of post-bar experience and an active Florida bar. This is not a clerkship or first-year seat.

Partners in this market take files from inception through jury verdict. The culture is laid-back by defense-firm standards. The pay is $220K. Key Duties:

• Defend general liability, premises, and complex casualty matters in Florida courts
• Manage discovery, depositions, and motion practice
• Prepare for mediations, hearings, and trial
• Advise carriers on exposure and strategy
• Take files from assignment through verdict or resolution

Requirements:

• JD and active Florida bar
• 3–8 years of post-bar general liability or insurance defense experience
• Current or recent title of Associate or equivalent — law clerks and summer associates will not be considered
• Deposition and trial-prep experience
