The Role - Employment Associate Attorney

• Defend employers in wage & hour litigation and related employment disputes
• Work under a senior attorney to learn the firm's proven approach
• Handle research, motions, discovery, depositions, and trial prep
• Billables ~1,800–1,850 hours annually (150/month + 5 admin hours)

Compensation

• Base salary up to $200,000 (DOE)
• Bonus potential: Hit 1,850 hours → 10% of salary; 2,200 hours → up to ~$70K bonus

Must-Haves

• Ideally 2–5 years of wage & hour/employment defense litigation experience
• Active California Bar
• Strong trial fundamentals (motions, discovery, depositions)

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-performance boutique

Nice-to-Haves

• Mandarin or Cantonese speaking
