Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, specifically with AWS.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security practices and compliance regulations.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Technologies & Tools

The AWS Platform Architect will primarily work with a variety of AWS services including, but not limited to, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation. Additionally, familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, and logging/monitoring solutions like AWS CloudWatch will be integral to this role. Proficiency in using scripting languages for automated operations and configurations will also be essential.
