Job Title: Experienced Barista – Specialty Coffee Shop (Williston Park, NY)

Pay: $17.00–$17.50/hour [+ tips, if applicable]

Schedule: Full-time or part-time · Morning and day shifts · 4- or 8-hour shifts · Weekends required

About Humble Cafe

Humble Cafe is a neighborhood coffee shop at 322 Hillside Ave in Williston Park, built on great coffee and a real sense of community. We know our regulars by name, and we're looking for a barista who takes pride in a well-pulled shot and a warm hello.

What you'll do

• Dial in and pull espresso, steam milk, and craft our full menu of hot and cold coffee and tea drinks, including seasonal favorites

• Greet guests, help them find their drink, and make recommendations based on their tastes

• Take orders accurately, including milk, sweetness, and customization preferences

• Handle cash and card payments

• Keep the bar, equipment, and service area clean, stocked, and up to health and safety standards

• Share guest feedback and menu ideas with the owners

• Help out with special events and seasonal launches

What we're looking for

• 1+ year of barista experience (required)

• Confident on a commercial espresso machine and grinder: you can dial in, adjust, and keep quality consistent during a rush

• Friendly, attentive customer service

• Weekend and holiday availability (we're open 6 days a week)

• Latte art and a Food Safety Certification are a plus, but not required
