- Prepare the operating room, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready for complex cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Maintain a sterile field throughout surgeries to ensure patient safety.
- Anticipate surgeon needs, handle instruments safely, and assist with specimen handling.
- Support room turnover to promote efficient surgical workflows.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an academic health environment to provide patient-centered care.
- Engage in continuous learning, innovative practices, and professional development.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile techniques.
