Surgical Tech II – Cardiovascular supports complex cardiac and vascular procedures in an academic medical center.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field throughout cardiovascular surgeries.
- Anticipate surgeon and team needs to support safe, efficient procedures.
- Handle and manage specialized cardiovascular instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and residents to promote exceptional patient outcomes.
- Proficiency in surgical technology with experience supporting cardiovascular cases.
- Strong aseptic technique and knowledge of sterile processing and setup.
- Ability to anticipate needs, manage equipment/instruments accurately, and work effectively in a surgical team.
- Commitment to patient safety, continuous learning, and professional growth.
