CDL A Truck Driver

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CDL A Truck Driver role based in Tracy, CA. The driver will operate commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently, following all federal, state, and company regulations. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and unloading freight as required, maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation, and adhering to hours-of-service rules. The driver will communicate with dispatch, follow assigned routes and schedules, and report any incidents, delays, or vehicle issues promptly. The role also involves representing the company professionally with customers and maintaining a clean, organized vehicle.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and current DOT medical certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hours-of-service rules, and safe driving practices.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections, basic troubleshooting, and proper freight securement.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills to follow routes, schedules, and delivery deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to work with dispatch, customers, and team members.
• Ability to lift, move, and secure freight as needed, and to work in varying weather and road conditions.
• Previous CDL A driving experience minimum 2 years, especially regional or long-haul, is required.
• Willingness to comply with all safety policies, drug and alcohol testing requirements, and company procedures.
