Chief Financial Officer

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning. Responsibilities include leading the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial statements and reports to executive leadership and stakeholders, as well as ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls. The CFO will collaborate with other leaders to support strategic decision-making, evaluate investment opportunities, manage risk, and optimize capital structure. Day-to-day tasks also involve guiding finance team members, implementing process improvements, managing relationships with auditors, banks, and investors, and supporting the development of financial policies and systems.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Finance, Financial Planning, and Financial Reporting, with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies.
• Proficiency in preparing, analyzing, and interpreting Financial Statements, supported by advanced Analytical Skills.
• Extensive experience leading finance teams, setting performance goals, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment.
• Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS, tax regulations, compliance frameworks, and internal control best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with executive leadership, communicate complex financial concepts clearly, and support data-driven decisions.
• Experience with financial systems, ERP platforms, and data analytics tools; comfort working in a remote, technology-driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPA, CFA) preferred.
