Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement security architectures for AWS environments to protect sensitive data and applications.
• Develop and automate security policies using Terraform to enforce infrastructure as code principles.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify risks in cloud configurations.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor AWS security services, implement alerts, and respond to security incidents as they arise.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and best practices, including but not limited to NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
• Document security processes, create risk assessment reports, and provide training to team members on security protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud security, specifically AWS environments.
• Proficient in infrastructure as code tools, particularly Terraform.
• Strong understanding of AWS security services including IAM, VPC, KMS, and GuardDuty.
• Experience with security frameworks and regulatory standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS).
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are highly preferred.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks is advantageous.
