Job Overview

Polikov Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial E&S Underwriter to join our team in a fully remote capacity. Job Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with agents and brokers to gather necessary information for risk evaluation and policy placement.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing of insurance contracts based on comprehensive analysis of risk profiles.
• Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge within the E&S market.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal underwriting guidelines while maximizing profitability.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
• Prepare and present underwriting recommendations and proposals to internal stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial E&S underwriting.
• Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse portfolio of risks.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in risk assessment and pricing methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with external partners.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating self-discipline and organizational skills.
• Relevant professional designations (CPCU, AU, or similar) are preferred but not required.
