About the Opportunity:

The COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST is responsible for capturing sensitive and confidential information reported via inbound calls related to workplace concerns and unethical issues. This role supports the hotline service by ensuring callers feel heard and their reports are handled appropriately. The specialist contributes directly to maintaining the integrity of the organization's services and supporting its mission to create safer, ethical workplaces.

Responsibilities:

• Engage reporters with care and ensure confidence in the reporting process
• Answer calls promptly across various industries and follow intake procedures
• Conduct guided interviews to capture accurate and detailed reports
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all information
• Assist with special projects and departmental tasks as assigned
• Adhere to scheduled shifts and maintain flexibility in a 24/7 operation

Requirements:

• Strong customer service skills with a results-oriented approach
• Emotional resilience to remain composed during distressing situations
• Availability to work at least one weekend day per week
• Quiet, secure home workspace with recommended internet speeds
• Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM
• Ability to multitask during interviews and accurately document information
• Experience with MS Office and ability to navigate proprietary software
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, candid environment valuing innovation
• Willingness to use AI and emerging technologies to improve work outcomes

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Starting pay is $15.50 per hour; $17.50 per hour for bilingual roles
