Job Description
Neuro ICU Registered Nurse
provides evidence-based, expert care to critically ill neurological patients.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform advanced neurological assessments and interpret patient changes.
- Manage advanced airway and ventilator support.
- Administer and titrate complex IV infusions and medications.
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data; respond rapidly to instability.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and deliver care plans.
- Support and educate patients’ families.
- Follow strict safety standards and infection-control protocols.
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts and continuous learning.
- Registered Nurse with experience/competency in critical care and neuro ICU settings.
- Strong ability to assess, prioritize, and manage complex, rapidly changing conditions.
- Proficiency with ventilators, complex IV therapy, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Commitment to patient safety, infection prevention, and high-quality care.
