Cyber Security Engineer

This employer is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to support a critical mission. The role involves leveraging expertise in Microsoft Defender technologies to enhance an organization's security posture.

The Role

• Provide technical expertise and support for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE).

• Conduct advanced threat detection, hunting, investigation, and incident response.

• Configure, deploy, administer, and optimize MDE across enterprise environments.

• Integrate MDE with existing security infrastructure, networks, and endpoint management systems.

• Support endpoint security policies, vulnerability management, and overall security posture.

What You'll Need

• Experience deploying, administering, and supporting MDE in enterprise environments.

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, endpoint detection and response (EDR), threat hunting, and incident response.

• Experience troubleshooting Windows OS and enterprise networks.

• Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
