About The Role

Mindlance is seeking a mid-senior-level DevSecOps and Security Automation professional for a contract opportunity. In this role, you will build, deploy, and support security solutions for Windows and Linux environments, as well as other relevant platforms. Your work will help strengthen enterprise vulnerability management, data protection, privacy and compliance, and network protection through effective automation.

You will use scripting, APIs, low-code platforms, and container technologies to streamline security workflows and integrate tools across systems. The role requires practical experience with Appian and Microsoft Power Platform, along with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and business audiences. You will work within Agile delivery practices and partner with multidisciplinary plan-build-run teams to develop, document, and support solutions.

Qualifications

Candidates should have demonstrated experience building or supporting DevSecOps and cybersecurity solutions across Windows, Linux, and related platforms. Hands-on experience with low-code environments, including Appian and Microsoft Power Platform, is mandatory. Applicants should also be able to write automation scripts in Python and use APIs to deploy, integrate, or orchestrate security workflows.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub is important for building and deploying solutions. Familiarity with identity and access management, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity automation workflows is expected. Experience creating AI-enabled automation workflows is valuable. Knowledge of Alteryx ETL and Workflow Designer is a plus.

Successful candidates will be comfortable working with Agile methodologies and Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence. Strong written communication skills are required for clear documentation and reporting. You should also be able to adapt your communication to business leaders, engineers, clients, and team members, and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Build, deploy, and support security solutions that address enterprise vulnerability management, data protection, privacy, compliance, and network protection. Apply systems automation platforms and technologies to automate security controls, data, and processes, improving operational support and the availability of useful metrics.

Develop Python-based automation and use APIs, including cloud-based APIs where appropriate, to connect and orchestrate systems within security workflows. Create and maintain solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, Appian, and Microsoft Power Platform. Contribute to identity and access, endpoint, vulnerability management, and other cybersecurity automation initiatives, including AI-enabled workflows where applicable.

Deliver work through Agile practices, using Jira and Confluence to support planning, collaboration, and documentation. Produce clear technical documentation and reports, communicate progress and findings to relevant audiences, and collaborate with plan-build-run partners to develop, implement, and support reliable solutions.

Benefits

This is a contract opportunity at the mid-senior level. The stated base pay range is $55.00 to $58.00 per hour.
