Overview

IQuest Solutions Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer Intern for Fall 2022. This remote internship offers an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain valuable experience in data management and engineering. The successful candidate will work closely with our data engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of data processing systems. Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the data engineering team to design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines.
• Assist in the development of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data analysis and reporting requirements.
• Collect, clean, and validate data from various data sources while ensuring data integrity.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data processing workflows and storage systems.
• Document processes and workflows to maintain transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts and database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with data modeling, data pipelines, and ETL frameworks is a plus.
