Job Description
About The Company
Synthires supports AI research and development by bringing subject-matter expertise into the evaluation and improvement of advanced models. Through this project, data science and quantitative professionals contribute practical insight into how AI systems handle analytical questions, statistical methods, machine learning concepts, and data-driven problem solving. The work focuses on assessing the quality, accuracy, and reasoning behind model-generated responses and helping research teams identify opportunities to improve performance.
Synthires is seeking professionals who can apply sound analytical judgment, recognize methodological strengths and weaknesses, and explain their findings clearly. This remote contractor opportunity is intended for candidates with relevant experience in technology, finance, research, or another related field.
About The Role
As a Junior Data Scientist, you will help evaluate AI-generated work across data science, statistics, machine learning, experimentation, and quantitative reasoning. You will review responses to analytical problems, determine whether the underlying methods and conclusions are valid, and provide structured feedback that can support model development.
The role also involves creating challenging prompts, datasets, and reference solutions. You will help test how well AI systems interpret data, select appropriate analytical techniques, and communicate conclusions. This is a remote, independent contractor engagement with approximately 100 openings. The hourly compensation range is $150–$200, subject to the terms of the engagement and the scope of assigned work.
Qualifications
