Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer specializing in Kubernetes and AWS to join our dynamic team at Jobot. In this role, you will be responsible for streamlining our development and deployment processes through effective automation, management of cloud environments, and orchestration of containerized applications. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
• Collaborate with development teams to facilitate CI/CD pipelines using AWS services.
• Automate infrastructure management and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor and optimize application performance and resource utilization in cloud environments.
• Implement security best practices for cloud and containerized applications.
• Conduct troubleshooting and support for system and application incidents.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools to enhance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related role.
• Extensive experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, EKS, and VPC.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies, primarily Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
