Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers to optimize application performance and deploy reliable and scalable cloud solutions on GCP.
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) by utilizing tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards in cloud environments.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for production issues.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, including runbooks and architectural diagrams.
• Actively participate in incident response activities and post-mortem analyses to improve system resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on cloud infrastructure (with GCP preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tooling.
• Strong understanding of networking, server management, and security principles in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus, ELK Stack).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
