Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and reliable DevOps architectures to support continuous integration and delivery.
• Lead the transformation of existing processes by introducing best practices in DevOps methodologies.
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to create a shared understanding of project requirements and deliverables.
• Monitor and improve system reliability and performance through effective deployment strategies.
• Architect and implement automation solutions for deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members on DevOps tools and practices.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that can enhance the team’s productivity and system robustness.
• Ensure adherence to security best practices in all deployment and operations processes.
• Facilitate change management processes to improve overall service quality and risk management.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, system administration, and DevOps practices.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Extensive experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
• In-depth understanding of configuration management and monitoring solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a capability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technologies & Tools

The DevOps Principal Architect will work with a variety of technologies and tools that include but are not limited to: AWS or Azure for cloud services, Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration, Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code, Jenkins or GitLab CI for continuous integration, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. Familiarity with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Shell, and Go will be essential to automate processes effectively.
