Electrical Engineer Co-Op

As an Electrical Engineering Co-Op you will work with the Atlas Electrical Engineering team to help design, build, and troubleshoot compact electrical systems in robots.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Work within a multidisciplinary team of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to help design and support complex robotic systems
• Assist with the design, prototyping, and testing of various circuit boards and electromechanical subassemblies
• Troubleshoot and root cause challenging electrical and systems problems
  
  

We Are Looking For

• Actively pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
• Familiarity with reading schematics and circuit fundamentals
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with Python or MATLAB
• Experience working hands-on with electronics and related lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and soldering equipment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience using schematic capture and PCB layout software
• Experience with microcontrollers
• Experience with power electronics - switching converters, motor drives etc.
  
  

The pay range for this position is between $30 to $35 per hour. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors including, but not limited to internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience. This range represents a good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
