Full Charge Bookkeeper

Role Description The Full Charge Bookkeeper is a part-time or full-time, on-site role based in Stanton, CA (next to Buena Park) responsible for managing the full cycle of bookkeeping and accounting activities for assigned clients. Day-to-day tasks include recording and reconciling transactions, posting journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. The role will handle payroll-related entries and payroll tax compliance, support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, and assist with budgeting and cash flow tracking. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will collaborate with the firm’s leadership to ensure accurate records, timely reporting, and adherence to regulatory requirements, while responding to client inquiries and providing clear financial insights.

Qualifications

• Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills, including Bookkeeping and Accounting fundamentals.
• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements.
• Experience with Journal Entries (Accounting) and maintaining general ledgers.
• Knowledge of Payroll Taxes and related compliance requirements.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks online and desktop), spreadsheets, and basic office applications.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple client files and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-specialists.
• Prior experience as a full charge bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role preferred.
• Can commute to work as this is an In Office position
