Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the Operational Tooling team responsible for building and enhancing the strategic platform used to create, manage, monitor, and govern financial indices across the LSEG ecosystem.

This team develops business-critical applications that support workflow management, governance, approvals, auditing, operational reporting, exception management, dashboarding, and automation across the index business. The platform handles large volumes of data and plays a key role in helping operational teams manage the lifecycle of financial indices across multiple products and services.

We are looking for engineers who build fast, ship often, and take ownership. You'll be comfortable working directly with business stakeholders, understanding real-world problems, and translating requirements into scalable technical solutions. Rather than simply executing tasks, you'll help shape solutions, challenge the status quo, and influence technical direction where appropriate.

The front-end technology landscape consists of React, Angular, and Vue.js, and candidates should have strong experience with at least one of these modern frameworks. On the backend, the team develops services primarily using Java Spring Boot and Python, making this an excellent opportunity for engineers who are comfortable working across a modern full-stack environment.

We are particularly interested in engineers who actively leverage AI in practice, whether that's integrating AI models into applications, automating workflows, building intelligent tooling, accelerating software delivery, or improving operational efficiency. Successful candidates will understand how to combine strong engineering fundamentals with modern AI capabilities to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

The ideal candidate must have the below:

• Full Stack Software Engineering experience

• Strong front-end development experience with React, OR Angular, and/or Vue.js

• Experience building enterprise-scale web applications and user interfaces

• Strong backend development experience with Java Spring Boot and/or Python

• Experience building scalable APIs, services, and system integrations

• Experience developing and supporting cloud-hosted applications within AWS

• Experience building dashboards, workflow applications, operational tooling, or other business-critical platforms

• Experience using AI tools as part of the software development lifecycle

• Experience integrating AI capabilities, intelligent services, or workflow automation into applications and business processes

• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive delivery from requirements through production

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and shape technical solutions

• Ability to challenge assumptions, solve complex problems, and identify opportunities for improvement

• Experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI engineering tools

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams
