About The Role

We are seeking a Staff Full-stack Engineer to join our dynamic team of technical experts. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the future of banking technology by driving innovation across multiple levels of the organization. You will work closely with developers, machine learning specialists, product managers, and leadership to create practical, reusable solutions to complex problems. This position requires a balance of deep technical expertise and leadership skills, including mentoring engineers and influencing architectural decisions. You will serve as a trusted advisor in your domain, contributing to the modernization of legacy systems and the development of scalable, event-driven platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software engineering, cloud computing, and enterprise architecture, with a passion for fostering engineering excellence and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture
• Experience with enterprise architecture and design patterns
• Proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong background in data architecture
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, solution architecture, and enterprise design patterns
• Experience with web technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, and SPA frameworks
• Expertise in designing and building distributed HPC and machine learning systems
• Proficient coding skills in languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, Scala
• Extensive experience with database systems and management
• Full lifecycle system development experience from conception to production support
• Experience with public cloud platforms, cloud productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of networking protocols and integration with third-party distributed systems
• 5+ years of experience mentoring senior engineers and fostering professional development
• 2+ years leading cross-domain architectural reviews and establishing coding/design standards
• Expertise in applying agentic AI coding tools to solve systemic development challenges
