Overview

Opinion Focus Panel LLC is seeking a dedicated and proactive Network Assistant to join our team in a flexible remote capacity. This position entails supporting the network infrastructure by ensuring efficient connectivity and functionality, monitoring system performance, and assisting with troubleshooting and problem-solving. Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to network users and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Monitor network performance and report any anomalies to the relevant team.
• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Document network changes, setups, and troubleshooting steps to maintain clear records.
• Participate in network upgrades and improvements under the guidance of senior staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and security protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience in network support or administration, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
• Familiarity with network protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and VPNs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Certification in Networking (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate) is a plus.
