Overview

Lumenalta is seeking a Senior GCP DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment processes within GCP environments.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications and services with cloud resources effectively.
• Monitor system performance and implement continuous improvements based on reliability and operational metrics.
• Conduct regular security assessments and enforce adherence to security best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
• Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshooting of production issues as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform services and technologies.
• Proficient with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of container orchestration systems, primarily Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior GCP DevOps Engineer will primarily work with Google Cloud services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.
