Join our Research & Development Technology team as we design cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions for next-generation systems in a collaborative, innovative environment. You’ll focus on Generative AI and advanced software for safety-critical, high-impact technology projects.

This position is onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA (local candidates and those that wish to relocate will be considered).

What You’ll Do

Design, develop, and run experiments to accelerate capabilities in Generative AI.
Lead and support innovative projects, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
Solve practical challenges and drive process improvements that make a real impact.

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Strong software development skills; proficient in Python and Unix/Linux.
Experience with Generative AI, AI/ML fundamentals, and deploying AI-powered applications (professionally or personally).
Familiarity with Large Language Model (LLM) frameworks (such as LangChain, Haystack).
Ability to develop complex systems and collaborate across teams.
