Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a technical, builder-minded GTM Engineer to join our team. This role designs, builds, and maintains the systems, data pipelines, and automations that power pipeline generation and revenue execution across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance. The GTM Engineer turns go-to-market strategy into working infrastructure – enrichment and scoring models, signal-based outbound workflows, lead routing, and AI-powered automations so our teams spend less time on manual work and more time with customers. Partnering closely with go-to-market and executive leadership, this individual operates at the intersection of engineering, data, and go-to-market execution – shaping how RapidWorks scales our go-to-market across the concrete pumping, hydrovac excavation, crane, and other heavy equipment service companies we serve in North America, Europe, and Australia, and across a growing product suite that includes Rapid ERP, Visual Dispatch, CRO Software, Rapid Fleet, and Rapid Payments.
Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation & GTM Automation
- Design, build, and run automated prospecting and enrichment workflows (e.g., Clay, Apollo, ZoomInfo) that identify, score, and prioritize target accounts across the concrete pumping, hydrovac, crane, and heavy equipment verticals we serve.
- Build signal-based outbound and inbound plays that use intent, firmographic, technographic, and product usage data to trigger timely, personalized outreach from Sales and Marketing.
- Own lead scoring, routing, and assignment logic so every inbound and outbound lead reaches the right rep quickly, with response SLAs tracked and enforced.
- Instrument and test GTM workflows, measuring conversion and pipeline yield to continuously iterate on what works.
GTM Systems, Data Infrastructure & Integrations
- Architect, build, and maintain the revenue technology stack (Salesforce, HubSpot, sales engagement, marketing automation, enrichment, data warehouse, etc.), building integrations via APIs, webhooks, and middleware (e.g., Zapier, Make, n8n, Workato).
- Build and maintain the data pipelines behind lead source attribution and marketing ROI reporting so Sales and Marketing can see which channels drive pipeline and revenue.
- Design and automate scalable GTM processes across the full customer lifecycle, from pipeline creation through onboarding, renewal, and expansion.
- Build product-usage and account signals that surface cross-sell and product attach opportunities across the RapidWorks suite, including Rapid Payments adoption, and route them to Sales and Customer Success.
- Build automated data hygiene, deduplication, and enrichment processes that keep CRM data clean and reliable as the business scales.
- Evaluate, build, and deploy AI agents and LLM-powered workflows (e.g., account research, personalization, call summarization, CRM updates) across the go-to-market stack to improve team efficiency, demand generation, sales velocity, and pipeline yield.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Enablement
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and RevOps to translate GTM strategy and pain points into scoped technical requirements and shipped solutions.
- Document systems, workflows, and data models so GTM infrastructure is maintainable, auditable, and easy to hand off.
- Partner with functional leaders to drive adoption of new tools and automations, training end users and gathering feedback to iterate.
- Serve as a foundational member of the GTM Engineering function, with the opportunity to grow scope and responsibility as the team scales.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in GTM Engineering, technical Revenue/Marketing Operations, or growth engineering within B2B SaaS companies, ideally growth stage.
- Hands-on experience building GTM automations, enrichment workflows, and CRM integrations, with examples of systems you’ve shipped.
- Working proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python or JavaScript) and comfort working with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON.
- Experience with GTM data and automation tools such as Clay, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Zapier, Make, or n8n.
- Ability to build trust with cross-functional partners and drive change without direct authority.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and HubSpot (CRM integration or migration experience a plus) and hands-on experience building with LLMs and AI tools (e.g., OpenAI or Anthropic APIs, prompt design, AI agents) across the go-to-market stack.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with a cloud data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) and reverse ETL tools (e.g., Hightouch, Census); BI tool experience (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Experience in vertical SaaS serving construction, field service, equipment rental, or the trades is preferred but not required.
- Experience in a multi-product company or one integrating acquired businesses is a plus.
