Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software development teams to address performance issues and optimize applications.
• Implement incident management, root cause analysis, and reporting to enhance future resilience.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers in best practices related to site reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing immediate response and resolution for critical incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Sound knowledge of container orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and troubleshoot complex issues.

Technologies & Tools

In this position, you will utilize a variety of technologies and tools including cloud infrastructure services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), monitoring and logging frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack), and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform) to maintain and enhance our systems' reliability and performance.
