Assisting Hands Home Care – Gilbert is a locally owned, newly launched home care agency serving the East Valley. We help aging adults and people with disabilities live safely and independently in the homes they love, and we're building a team of caregivers who are respected, supported, and valued.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation

• Help with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Plan and prepare meals

• Do light housekeeping and laundry

• Give medication reminders

• Drive clients to doctor visits and errands, and stay by their side

• Give family caregivers a well-deserved break

• Support clients and families receiving hospice care, alongside the hospice team

• Note changes in a client's condition and keep the office informed

WHAT WE OFFER

• $17–$19 per hour, based on experience

• Higher pay for short visits

• Weekend pay differential

• Holiday pay at 1.5x

• Caregiver referral bonus

• Flexible scheduling: choose the days, times, and cities that work for you

• Visits from 2 hours to full-day shifts, plus live-in and 24/7 opportunities

• Paid orientation and ongoing support from our Lead Caregiver and office team

• A small, caring team where your voice is heard

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• At least 18 years old

• A valid Arizona driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance

• Ability to pass a background check

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers

• Strong communication skills and a dependable attitude

• Compassion, patience, and respect for every client's dignity

• Caregiving experience, professional or personal

NICE TO HAVE

• CNA, caregiver certificate, or similar credential

• Experience with memory care or hospice support

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
