Overview

Merican Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters in cloud environments.
• Automate deployment workflows using CI/CD tools to streamline operations.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize resource utilization.
• Collaborate with development teams to establish best practices for container management and orchestration.
• Ensure system security, including managing access and implementing updates as needed.
• Document architecture, processes, and best practices for internal teams.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in DevOps and container ecosystems to recommend improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or as a Kubernetes Engineer.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and experience with container technologies such as Docker.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
• Experience with cloud service providers, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Excellent scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Helm).
