Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Laundry Attendant role located in Peoria, IL. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for collecting, sorting, and processing hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items according to established procedures. Typical tasks include operating washers and dryers, loading and unloading machines safely, using appropriate detergents and chemicals, and monitoring equipment for proper functioning. The role involves folding, organizing, and storing clean laundry, maintaining a clean and safe laundry area, and reporting any damaged or missing items. The Laundry Attendant may occasionally interact with guests or team members to respond to requests, support housekeeping, and ensure an adequate supply of clean linens for daily hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform core laundry operations, including Laundry and Laundry Services, with attention to cleanliness and fabric care.
• Experience or comfort with operating and maintaining Dryers and related laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to collaborate with team members and respond professionally to guest or staff requests.
• Reliability and time management skills to handle repetitive tasks, meet daily linen demands, and follow established procedures.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry laundry items for extended periods, following safety guidelines.
• Basic understanding of cleaning products and safety practices; prior hotel or housekeeping experience is beneficial but not required.
