Role: Mainframe Production Operations Engineer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 12+ Months

Must have : Migration from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli System Automation for z/OS is mandatory, REXX program

Qualification

CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli System Automation for z/OS

REXX

Required Professional & Technical Expertise

5+ years of experience in a Mainframe Operations environment in an operational, service, consulting, or support role

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Hands-on experience with TSO and ISPF

Strong JCL skills

Ability to write REXX

Working knowledge of System Automation Policy Database (PDB)

Experience with z/OS Automation Migration Projects

Migration from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli System Automation for z/OS – MUST HAVE

Required Product Experience

NetView for z/OS

IBM System Automation for z/OS

Preferred Expertise

Knowledge of other IBM Z software and technologies

z/OS system operation, configuration, startup and shutdown

SMP/E

Knowledge of competing Mainframe automation products

Experience with fully automated system configurations on IBM Z
